The Nikki Beach Story

In 1998, entrepreneur Jack Penrod introduced the world to Nikki Beach, the first and original luxury beach club concept that combines the elements of music, dining, entertainment, fashion, film and art into one.

Today, as Nikki Beach marks over 25 years in business, the brand has grown into a global, multifaceted lifestyle hospitality company with 11 beach clubs, 5 hotels and resorts, a fashion division, special events, and Nikki Cares, a 501c3 non-profit charity. Nikki Beach has become known for impressive pop-ups during the Cannes International Film Festival, partnerships with some of the world’s most renowned performers and DJs, and a curated fashion collection offered in Nikki Beach boutiques and an online shop. Across the growing hotel division, Nikki Beach has introduced various on-site dining concepts including Café Nikki, Escape, and Soul Lounge as well as a luxury spa and Tone Gym.

Nikki Beach beach clubs can now be experienced in: Miami Beach, USA; Saint Tropez, France; Saint Barth, Caribbean; Marbella, Spain; Koh Samui, Thailand; Mallorca, Spain; Ibiza, Spain; Monte Carlo, Monaco; Dubai, UAE; Costa Smeralda, Italy and Tivat, Montenegro. Every year, Nikki Beach has a pop-up location during the Cannes International Film Festival in France and a summer-long pop-up lounge at the Waterfront in Porto Cervo, Italy. The Hotels & Resorts division has properties in Koh Samui, Thailand; Porto Heli, Greece; Dubai, UAE; Santorini, Greece, and Tivat, Montenegro, with a property in Muscat, Oman opening soon.

As the founder and owner of Nikki Beach, Jack Penrod is involved with every facet of the luxury, lifestyle brand.

Everything was designed with my daughter Nicole in mind. The look is meant to be soft, friendly, carefree, beautiful and safe.

“Nikki Beach was created to celebrate the life of my daughter Nicole. We did not have any plans to become a global brand. However, the magic between our family concept and our customers created a demand. It was then that we decided to strategically expand Nikki Beach worldwide, while keeping the core message behind Nikki Beach (which is a celebration of life) by ensuring each location combined the elements of everything that Nicole loved into one: Music, dining, entertainment, fashion, film and art.”

Our global resident DJs curate the fun and happy soundtrack Nikki Beach guests enjoy at all of our locations. As part of our programming, we also feature live percussionists to amp up the beat and ambiance. At Nikki Beach, music is life!

We are proud of the ambiance we have created and music is at the core.


Nikki Beach marches to its own drummer. In fact, we set the beat with our signature entertainment program, featuring live performers, aerialists, burlesque dancers and so much more. Our theme parties have become legendary, too. Each year, Nikki Beach hosts a fabulous White Party at the beginning of the season, as well as a closing Red Party at the conclusion of the summer.

Nikki Beach’s globally-inspired menu exemplifies the flavors found at all of our locations, with an emphasis on freshly prepared seafood, healthful salads, shared plates and farm-to-table cooking. There’s also an extensive sushi and raw bar menu. And don’t miss our Amazing Sundays Brunch, a decadent feast with live cooking stations and upbeat entertainment.

In 2003, Nikki Beach created a unique, branded pop-up location during the Cannes International Film Festival.

Each year at Cannes, we host premiere parties, fashion shows, cast dinners, charity soirees, brunches and press junkets. Our commitment to cinema has, in the past, also extended to the Toronto, Sundance and Venice film festivals.

The magic between our family concept and our discerning customers has allowed us to reach a global audience.


With glamorous, fashion forward guests in mind, Nikki Beach features stylish Lifestyle boutiques at many of our locations worldwide.

The Lifestyle boutiques carry branded polo shirts and t-shirts, luxury designer clothing and swimwear for men and women, towels, hats, beach bags, accessories, music and more. Don’t miss our annual What Women Want event with fashion shows and exclusive retail pop-ups.

Nikki Beach’s dedication to the arts spans many forms, from supporting local artists to hosting exhibitions. Nikki Beach Founder and Owner Jack Penrod commissioned Sasha de Saint-Tropez to create an artistic memorial to his late daughter Nicole, which is displayed at each Nikki Beach location.
